"Town" versus Country

So, it's been nearly a year since I moved into what is known by locals as "town". And yes, I have sewerage, town water, asphalt roads & easy access to shops & supermarket. But ironically in my case, I am surrounded by tall trees & see more wildlife than I did at my farm in Griersville.
Why's that? Well, I live less than 100 yards from the Georgian Trail, which in Meaford runs through dense forest, with streams on both sides. It is a walkers & cyclists delight.
